Here is online demonstration of 'Afterimage - Mind Frame' project.  The project was not designed to be experienced via video. In fact it's very difficult to show the piece's full effect through online documentation.

Witnessing the piece directly is essential to its success because seeing the afterimage form is dependent on having optimal ambient conditions.  It works successfully when installation in a gallery because the ambient conditions can be fine-tuned.

Nevertheless, you can try experiencing "Afterimage - Mind Frame" using this demo by carefully following the instructions below. Although I cannot guarantee the results in this format!

Recommendations

These are crucial !

1) The light. It will be hard to get a good result in the place where is too bright. Dim light is ideal.

2) The screen. The afterimage effect is much harder to see on a glossy screen, less harder on non-glossy screen or on video projection.

3) Position. Watch from about '60 cm - 90 cm (2 feet - 3 feet)' distance. Once you set the position to view don't move your head, stay still.

4) After the demo starts don’t move your eyes and head while you are watching.
Stay focused on the red dot whatever happens in the screen that appears in the middle of the screen.

5) Remember.. Be patient, do not try hard to find something.  Relax, you can blink.
Just keep focusing on the red dot when moving image is playing and when it’s gone.
That is all you need to do.
